MARY = Queen of Heaven ~ Mother of God ~ Consort of Christ ~ Her story has been written and rewritten so many times, for so many reasons, that her cult is still strong even though her power and attributes have been diminished through two thousand years of Christian influence.

SHEHARAZADE = Queen ~ Creatix of The Thousand and One Nights ~ Saviour ~ "Love was before the light began, When Light is over, love shall be; O warm hand in the grave, O bridge of truth, O ivy's tooth Eating the green heart of the tree Of man!"

EVE = The First Woman ~ Consort of Adam ~ Seeker of Divine Knowledge ~ Fruitarian ~ We always have a place for Eve, for without her light shining on the Garden of Eden, all the plants and beasts would be without life and the love of woman.

FLORA = Roman Goddess of Spring ~ The Flourishing One ~ Queen of May Day ~ She was the promise of fruit to come in the flower and her festivals were a time of sexual license, symbolizing nature's fertilization. Witches still honor her festival as Beltane, one of their major Sabbats.

MELISSA = The Queen Bee ~ Aphrodite's high priestesses in Her temple at Eryx were known as melissae, "bees", and the Goddess herself was given the title Melissa.

ASHERAH = Middle Eastern Goddess of the Grove ~ Mother of the Gods ~ In Jerusalem, sacrificial feasts were held in Her sacred groves, honoring the awe of tree beings and giving thanks for their many contributions to the human race.
